You can leave your sample in the refrigerator until the icepack is frozen. We do recommend sending your sample back the same day you collect to avoid any issues with stability. For the best stability, you should freeze your icepack overnight to ensure your sample is cold upon arrival to the lab. It also helps to freeze your icepack laying flat so they fit in the silver pouch securely.
